CRRC inked metro vehicle production MOU with IRICO

CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd has recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iranian Railway Industry Company (IRICO) on the assembly production of 215 metro vehicles in Iran, according to a release by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of China in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
CRRC Nanjing Puzhen entered into agreement with Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran back in December of 2008 to supply 315 metro vehicles, and the company has already delivered the 100 metro vehicles manufactured in China to Iran, according to the release.
The rest 215 metro vehicles would be produced in Iran under the above-mentioned MOU.
