Henan newly-inked B&R project contract value up 562.7pct on yr in H1

Central China's Henan province inked contracts for overseas contracted projects and labor cooperation worth 3.22 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2018, up 89.1 percent on year, with agreed outbound investment amounting to 1.16 billion U.S. dollars during the period, up 136.6 percent year on year.

Particularly, contracts for contracted projects in countries along the Belt and Road route totaled 1.86 billion U.S. dollars in the first six months, up 562.7 percent on year and accounting for 57.8 percent of the total, according to Henan Provincial Commerce Department.

These projects mainly scattered in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Kuwait, Oman, Vietnam, Poland, Nepal and other countries and regions.
