China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAH) is an extra-large state-owned air transport holding group, composed of former Air China as its main body merged with China National Aviation Corporation (Group) Limited and China Southwest Airlines. Established on October 11, 2002, CNAH’s business scope covers the management of all the state owned assets and shares of CNAH and state invested parts of its invested companies, aircraft leasing, maintenance of aircraft and equipment. CNAH’s registered capital is RMB 10.028billion.

Since the establishment, CNAH consolidated its air transportation operation, successfully listed on Hong Kong, London and Shanghai stock markets, consolidated non air transportation business to individual companies focusing on capital construction and hotel property management, asset management, financial service, air express and media. Air passenger transportation, air cargo & logistics are CNAH’s two core business, covering not only highly related industries, such as Aircraft Maintenance, Air Catering, Air Cargo Terminal, Ground Handling, Airport Service and Air Media, but also extended service industries, such as Financial Service, Air Travel Service, Constructions & Development, and IT Service.

Currently, there are 8 departments under CNAH that are Administration Office, Strategic Planning and Development Dept., HR Dept., Finance Dept., Legal Supervision Dept.(Internal Risk Management Dept.), Air Safety Office, Auditing and Supervision Dept.(Discipline Inspection Office), Corporate Culture Office. The subsidiaries of CNAH are Air China Limited, China National Aviation Corporation (Group) Limited, China Aviation Investment Co., Limited, China National Aviation Holding Construction & Development Company,China National Aviation Capital Holding Co., Limited, China Air Express Co., Limited and China National Aviation Media & Advertising Company. By the end of 2015, CNAH owned a total asset of RMB 226.5 Billion and about 90,000 employees. The Headquarter of CNAH locates at Air China Plaza, No. 36, Xiaoyun Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
