Guiyang leads Guizhou in investment promotion growth in 2018

In 2018, Guiyang over-fulfill its annual targets in such aspects as paid-in investment, project introduction, project commencement, project operation and introduction of enterprises among Fortune Global 500. Guiyang's industrial investment promotion projects took on a favorable situation.

In 2018, Guiyang introduced a total investment of 221.867 billion yuan, fulfilling 110.22 percent of its annual target, up 35.41 percent year on year; introduced 15 enterprises among Fortune Global 500, China's top 500 enterprises and China's top 500 private enterprises; introduced 1,203 projects with a total investment of 260.236 billion yuan, commenced 1,268 projects (including 99.25 percent of newly-signed projects) and brought 1,085 projects into operation; introduced 283 enterprises under the "1,000 Enterprises Introduction Program" to invest in 353 projects; and led Guizhou in the provincial comprehensive assessment of industrial investment promotion in 2018.

To intensify industrial support, Guiyang conducted targeted industrial investment promotion through investment promotion activities, exhibitions and other platforms, produced significant industrial agglomeration effects, and pushed forward the creation of an industrial pattern featuring the accelerated transformation of traditional industries, the rapid growth of emerging industries and the vigorous development of modern manufacturing and modern service industries.
