Turing Award winner Bailey Whitfield Diffie confirms presence at Big Data Expo 2019

The source from the Executive Committee of Big Data Expo told that a high-level dialogue on "data security" will take place at the Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center on the afternoon of May 26, with the theme "Build Digital Security Ecology, Boost the Digital Economy". Then global top security experts will gather in Guiyang for the dialogue. Turing Award winner Bailey Whitfield Diffie confirmed presence at the dialogue and delivered a keynote speech.

Bailey Whitfield Diffie, Chief Security Officer of Cryptic Labs, Member of the National Academy of Engineering and Foreign Member of the Royal Society, is known as "Father of Modern Cryptography" and "Founder of World Network Security". As a world-renowned cryptographic and security expert, he won the Turing Award recognized as the "Nobel Prize of Computing" in 2015. Diffie-Hellman, the world's first key exchange mechanism created by Diffie and his partner set a precedent in key encryption algorithms and the digital signature mechanism. Now it is protecting information communication between numberless internet users and financial transactions worth trillions of dollars.

Apart from Bailey Whitfield Diffie, Wu Hequan, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of the International Society of China; Qi Xiangdong, President of Enterprise Security at Qihoo 360; Flavio Villanustre, Senior Vice President of RELX Group; Du Yuejin, Vice President of Technology at Alibaba Group and other senior executives will deliver keynote speeches at the high-level dialogue on "data security".
