Does China have military intentions by advancing the B&R?

It has been written into the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and the Constitution of the Communist Party of China that China opposes hegemony and power politics. Power expansion is neither in line with China’s realistic needs nor its long-term interests. Chinese history and traditional culture have determined that China will never seek hegemony, dominance of regional affairs, and expansion of power and will never interfere in other countries’ internal affairs.
