Northwest China's Shaanxi Province vows to enhance trade cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road routes and will establish a Belt & Road comprehensive pilot zone in Xi'an, according to a document recently approved by the provincial government.
The pilot zone will take full advantage of Xi'an as an important economic, culture and technological innovation in western China to accelerate the city's opening-up.
It will further promote institutional innovation and speed up the construction of Xi'an into a leading frontier city in opening-up to the west under the drive of reform and opening-up.
