Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum
To further advance the sustainable development of the Belt and Road Initiative, deepen international cooperation in the agricultural and food sectors, and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for humanity, the Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum has been successfully held for 17 sessions. The forum is co-hosted by the State Administration for Market Regulation and other relevant organizations under the frameworks of the China International Import Expo, the China Food Safety Publicity Week, and the Boao Forum for Asia, and others.
The forum has become an important platform for political, business, and academic leaders from the Belt and Road partner countries to engage in high-level dialogue on global agricultural and food safety issues. Building on this new starting point, the forum will continue to deepen its work in the field of food safety, with a focus on the food industry and ecological agriculture, to foster people-to-people connectivity and contribute wisdom and strength to the sustainable development of the Belt and Road partner countries.
