BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Iranian Ambassador to China Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli in Beijing on Tuesday.

Fu said that Xinhua is willing to strengthen its exchange and cooperation with Iranian media and think tanks, serving as a witness, recorder and promoter of the friendly relations between the two countries.

Fu expressed the hope that both sides will enhance collaboration within the frameworks of multilateral mechanisms, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Global South's international discourse power.

Noting that Iran attaches great importance to its relationship with China, Fazli said the Iranian side looks forward to expanding and deepening cooperation with Xinhua, leveraging the important role of the media to promote the development of bilateral relations.
