The first China-funded large-scale modern sewage treatment plant in Bangladesh

Constructed by a Chinese enterprise, Dasherkandi Sewage Treatment Plant (DSTP) is Bangladesh's first large-scale modern sewage treatment facility. This project can effectively process the domestic wastewater generated by nearly 5 million people residing in the Dhaka city area on a daily basis, significantly enhancing the local water environment.
