China's success challenges entrenched Western narratives, says British politician

The system of governance in China is overwhelmingly unknown to the general public in the West, and also to the commentariat, the people who feed the general public their information, said George Galloway, former British Member of Parliament and leader of the Workers Party, in a recent interview with Xinhua.

Their objection to China is that China works and their system doesn't work, he said. "It is ideological. But mainly it's about competence."
