Senior political advisor encourages private business to participate in B&R construction

Senior political advisor Gao Yunlong on Tuesday encouraged Chinese private businesses to promote the Belt and Road (B&R) construction with high-quality development.

Gao, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, made the remarks at a conference to guide and serve private businesses in participating in the B&R construction.

Gao also asked private businesses to seize the opportunities provided by the fourth industrial revolution and economic globalization, and focus on people-to-people exchanges.

A research report on the status of Chinese private businesses along the B&R was released at the conference.
