Tunisia wishes to share experience with China on combating COVID-19

Tunisian Foreign Minister Noureddine Erray on Thursday expressed his hope to share experience with China to combat the novel coronavirus.

During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wang Wenbin, Erray highly appreciated the efforts of the Chinese government and people to prevent and control the epidemic and expressed his hope to share the experience with China on the battle against COVID-19.

The minister also thanked China for its assistance to Tunisia's economic and social development, stating that his country attaches great importance to develop bilateral relations and regards China as a strategic partner of cooperation.

He added that Tunisia is willing to work with China to deepen cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy, trade and international affairs.

For his part, Wang thanked the Tunisian government and people for their supports in China's fight against the epidemic.

He stressed that China is confident of a complete victory over the epidemic and is willing to work with the international community, including Tunisia, to jointly safeguard international public health security.
