New China-Europe cargo train service linking Guangdong and Uzbekistan launched

A China-Europe cargo train left south China's Guangdong Province recently, heading for Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.

Carrying 45 TEUs of communication equipment, the cargo train will leave China via the Horgos Port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

It will travel a total of 7,000 kilometers, pass by Kazakhstan, and arrive at the destination in ten day, marking a new cargo train route that has connected China's Guangdong with Uzbekistan.

The opening of this new cargo train route has transported goods from China's manufacturing center directly to Central Asia, further ensuring the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain, according to the Horgos customs.

By far, there are 18 routes linking Horgos port with countries and regions across Eurasia and Europe. The statistics showed that the daily cargo trains passing through Horgos port reached 11 trains, with a maximum of 17 trains per day.
