Chinese-built crude oil deep conversion project in Russia goes into production

Undertaken by China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven, Ltd. (CC-7), the Russian Omsk refinery crude oil deep conversion project was successfully completed and put into production recently, reported People's Daily citing words from the company.

Located on the outskirts of Omsk, Russia, the project was formally signed at the beginning of 2018, with a total amount of approximately 420 million U.S. dollars. CC-7 undertakes the construction of core equipment such as hydrogen production unit, ammonia recovery, sulfur recovery and sewage treatment.

In order to complete above-mentioned crude oil deep conversion construction task, the project department has overcome difficult construction conditions and the impact of COVID-19 epidemic.

The commissioning of the project is the result of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation's deep cultivation of Russian market. It has won a good reputation for Chinese enterprises and will promote local social and economic development.
