Chinese leading online pharmacy and healthcare platform 111, Inc. on Tuesday reached strategic cooperation with Germany-based multinational pharmaceutical company Bayer Healthcare to jointly explore the innovative service mode of digital healthcare plus medicine.

111, Inc. and Bayer Healthcare established multi-level partnership in areas such as drug service, patient management, and digital marketing in October last year. After strategic cooperation upgrade this time, the two sides will carry out in-depth collaboration on omni-channel drug commercialization, chronic disease management, patient education, internet hospital, and many other fields.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, 111, Inc. will be Bayer Healthcare's only digital pharmacy and healthcare platform of direct supply cooperation in China, helping the foreign company expand its presence in online and offline Chinese market by integrating intelligent supply chain, big data, cloud service and other technologies.

Meanwhile, by relying on internet hospitals, the two sides will also explore building a disease management platform to provide digital "healthcare plus medicine" services including doctor-patient communication, course management and direct-to-patient (DTP) drug delivery for patients.
