PowerChina inks contract of about USD 717 mln for 600 MW wind power project in Laos

Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) announced that its subsidiaries signed a contract with a Lao company for a 600 MW wind power project in Laos, reported Shanghai Securities News Tuesday.
The contract value is about 717 million U.S.dollars, equivalent to about 5.083 billion yuan.
The project is located in two provinces of southern Laos. It will be finished in 28 months, and the warranty period is 60 months.
