China has set up a legal consultation platform for enterprises' cross-border trade and investment, according to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Aimed at meeting the diversified demands of enterprises, the platform collaborates with legal experts in various fields to help solve relevant problems with better resources.

In 20 days since its establishment, the platform had processed nearly 4,000 consultations for enterprises, with problems mainly including contract performance, some countries' trade restrictions and difficulties in attending overseas exhibitions, the CCPIT said.

Amid the epidemic, the CCPIT has moved to help enterprises solve practical problems with the advantages of the trade promotion system, said Chen Huaisheng, an official with the council.

More measures will be taken to expand the service range of the platform and provide more legal support for enterprises, as well as safeguard their lawful rights and interests, said the CCPIT.
