Horgos highway port sees doubled vehicle export this year

As of April 8, a total of more than 10,000 units of commercial vehicles have been exported through Horgos highway port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region this year, a year-on-year increase of 154 percent, reported Chinanews.com citing statistics from Horgos entry-exit frontier inspection station.

According to Zhou Long, manager of a logistics company in Horgos, the Belt and Road countries have strong demand for China's new energy vehicles, heavy-duty dump trucks, road rollers, and etc. Currently, the Horgos highway port exports an average of more than 70 vehicles every day, Zhou added.

The Horgos entry-exit frontier inspection station continues to optimize its customs clearance environment, and take convenient measures to support imports and exports, said a member staff of Horgos station.
