Chinese PV equipment maker to provide 2GW PV module production line to Indian energy giant

Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co., Ltd. (603396.SH), a Chinese photovoltaic equipment manufacturer based in Yingkou City of northeast China's Liaoning Province, has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Adani Solar, a solar photovoltaic manufacturing company affiliated to Indian energy giant Adani, reported stcn.com Wednesday.

According to the agreement, Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co., Ltd. will provide Adani Solar with a 2GW photovoltaic module efficient automatic production line.

The cooperation between the two sides can be traced back to 2015, and up to now, the company has provided Adani with 4GW of high-end manufacturing equipment for photovoltaic modules, according to Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co., Ltd.

It is learned that Adani is one of the largest solar developers in the world, and with the target of achieving 45GW of renewable energy project capacity by 2030, the company will invest 20 billion U.S. dollars in the development of renewable energy projects in the next decade.

According to Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co., Ltd., India is one of its important overseas markets, and it has established a marketing service center in the country. In the future, the company will continue to cooperate with leading photovoltaic manufacturing enterprises around the globe to deeply participate in global sustainable development.
