Shandong’s Linyi Trade City launches cross-border e-commerce service platform

The comprehensive service platform for cross-border e-commerce trade in Linyi Trade City, East China's Shandong Province, was officially launched on June 10 last week.

The platform, which is jointly developed by Linyi Port Co., Ltd. and an information technology company in Shenzhen, is committed to providing one-stop customs clearance service and cross-border logistics solutions for foreign trade e-commerce enterprises, as well as functions including summarizing data, online promotion of Linyi characteristic local products.

As one of the fifth batch of cities to build comprehensive cross-border e-commerce experimental zones in China, Linyi has gradually established the cross-border e-commerce industry ecosystem in the past two years, and the import and export scale of cross-border e-commerce has grown rapidly. Among them, Linyi Trade City has become an important logistics center and wholesale business center.

Relying on the offline Customs supervision center and park of Linyi Port cross-border e-commerce, the platform will further promote the better and faster development of Linyi cross-border e-commerce and help the construction of international trade city, according to relevant person in charge of Linyi Trade City Administrative Commission.

Linyi Customs will continue to fully support the development of the city's export-oriented economy and new forms of foreign trade, guide enterprises to use the preferential policies for cross-border e-commerce and boost the export of agricultural products and characteristic industries, said Xu Yanjun, an official with Linyi Customs.

The launch of the platform will provide more convenient online customs clearance services for the cross-border e-commerce enterprises in Linyi Trade City, bringing more Linyi goods to the world and more international resources back to Linyi, said Li Changcheng, chairman of Linyi Trade City Holding Group.
