Douyin becomes broadcast rights holder for the FIFA World Cup - Qatar 2022

Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, has become the broadcast rights holder for the FIFA World Cup - Qatar 2022.

The news was officially announced during an online event held by China Media Group and Douyin on Tuesday.

It is noted that Douyin has been working on sports ecology in recent years with content supply and viewers growing quickly. It was a partner of the UEFA Euro 2020 as well as Copa America 2021, according to a source with Douyin.
