The first NIKE STYLE retail concept store in China opened in Shanghai TX Huaihai shopping mall on Friday, aiming to serve the fashion and younger generation.

As the first fashion retail store in the domestic industry to open late at night, the store will remain open until 11 pm.

Meanwhile, the store has brought together ideas from the market. The exterior wall of the store is decorated with hand-painted Swoosh patterns created by nearly 250 Nike members and local artists.

Also, the store uses many recyclable materials in its design and is also able to recycle shoes to achieve its environmentally friendly goal.

"This store is our first NIKE STYLE store in China, with the world's first store opening in Seoul. This store reflects our future vision to bring sports fashion to every consumer," said Men Lijun, vice-president of Nike Greater China.

"In the future, we hope to take this store as a starting point, through further communication, to deliver Nike's experience of fashion, co-creation with consumers, and digital and community services to every city in China," Men said.

Men added that the second NIKE STYLE store will open in Chengdu, Sichuan province, at the end of the year, and nearly 20 NIKE RISE will be launched in major cities.
