Matchmaking held between Chinese companies, New Zealand food exporters

WELLINGTON, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- An online matchmaking meeting was held on Wednesday between New Zealand food exporters to attend the upcoming fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Chinese companies looking for market opportunities.

More than 10 Kiwi food exporters, with products ranging from cherries, dairy products, peanut butter, wines to lamb and beef, talked directly to Chinese companies seeking Kiwi partnership during the online matchmaking.

At the meeting, the New Zealand export companies introduced their brands before having one-on-one talks with their potential Chinese partners.

The online event was organized by the China Construction Bank and was supported by the China Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand. Participating Kiwi companies include New Zealand Cherry Co., Ltd, Milk New Zealand Dairy Ltd, Allied Faxi New Zealand Food Co., Ltd, Prime Range Meats Ltd and Delegat Limited, among others.
