China's home appliance exports registered strong performance in all regional markets around the world in October this year, with exports to Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries rising 14.6 percent year on year to 990 million U.S. dollars in the month, according to the latest data from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME).

According to CCCME, China's home appliance exports to Asian countries and regions reached 3.08 billion U.S dollars in October, up 3.7 percent over the same month a year ago.

Thanks to favorable policies brought about by the entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), China's home appliance exports to ASEAN countries have steadily improved. In October, China’s home appliance exports to Singapore and the Philippines surged by 114.9 percent and 57 percent year on year, respectively.

During January to October, China's home appliance exports stood at 95.49 billion U.S. dollars, down 2.3 percent year on year, while the Asian countries and regions remains as China’s biggest home appliance exports markets in the period, with a year-on-year increase of 5.2 percent from a year earlier.

During the period, China's exports of household appliances, kitchen and bathroom appliances, as well as small kitchen appliances fall by more than 10 percent year on year, while exports of rigid demand products such as irons and dryers remained stable, according to CCCME.
