CEE to invest RMB550mln on building new printed circuit board base in Thailand

Huizhou China Eagle Electronic Technology InC. (CEE) announced to invest in a new printed circuit board (PCB) production base in Thailand recently, main products of which are high-density multilayer boards (MLB) and high-density interconnect boards (HDI), reported Xinhua-run China Securities Journal.

It is learned key application areas of these products include automotive electronics, computers and network communications. The planned investment amount of the project shall not exceed 550 million yuan, including but not limited to the purchase of land, fixed assets and other related matters, and the actual investment amount shall be subject to the amount approved by the competent authorities of China and local authorities.

CEE said that it is an important move for the company to implement overseas strategic layout, which is conducive to reducing operating costs, opening up overseas markets, and better meeting the needs of international customers.
