Chinese new materials firm to supply about 61,000-tonne lithium battery aluminum foil to battery firm in ROK

Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. (603876.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Hangzhou Five Star Aluminium Company Limited inked a cooperation agreement with LG Energy Solution, Ltd. based in the Republic of Korea (ROK), reported Shanghai Securities News.

LG Energy Solution, Ltd. and its three wholly-owned subsidiaries in China will purchase about 61,000 tonnes of lithium battery aluminum foil from Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Five Star Aluminium Company Limited in 2023 to 2026. The final supply is subject to subsequent specific orders.
