151 companies of Hangzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province have reached tentative deals worth 420 million U.S. dollars at the China Trade Fair Indonesia 2023, held from March 16 to 18, reported China Securities Journal on Monday.

The three-day event attracted 31,364 purchasers and saw a total of 2.19 billion U.S. dollars worth of tentative orders reached, according to the organizer.

Through city promotion, product display and bilateral cooperation, exhibitors from Hangzhou have strived to expand the Indonesian market at the trade fair. For instance, Wanshida (Hangzhou) Coffee Machine Co., Ltd. has integrated the metaverse technology in its exhibition to dynamically display the factories and products.

In addition to reaching deals, enterprises have also discovered new market demands and potential customers at the event, as Indonesia, along with other members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, has become a popular destination for Hangzhou companies to expand their overseas business.
