Two index reports were recently released at the first China-ASEAN Entrepreneurs Forum.

The two reports are the Index Report on Connectivity of the Belt and Road between China and ASEAN, and the Index Report on Yunnan Province. It was indicated in the reports that Yunnan Province ranks ninth in the Evaluation Report on Participation of B&R Cities and Provinces, and first in southwestern China, Yunnan.cn reported.

The cooperation priorities of the Belt and Road Initiative are policy coordination, infrastructure connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people bonds. Based on these priorities, a research group from Peking University developed an index system to evaluate the connectivity level of countries along the Belt and Road.

The former report makes an analysis of the five aspects  and offered some suggestions. The latter provided an analysis based on policy environment, infrastructure, economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people communication and comprehensive influence.
