Chilean Senate approves protocol of deepening free trade agreement with China

The Chilean Senate approved the protocol of deepening the Free Trade Agreement with China, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) quoted a Chilean newspaper as saying on Tuesday.
It makes Chile the first country in Latin America to deepen free trade relations with China.
Chile's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, said that it is the good news to Chile. China is not only a huge market, but also a key player in the Asia Pacific area. The deepening of the trade with China is in line with Chile's foreign policy.
