PINGTAN, March 6 (Xinhua) --The international cruise ship "Dream", which sailed for a three-day and two-night trip to Japan, departed from an international cruise center in Pingtan of southeast China's Fujian Province on Wednesday, marking the official operation of the first international line with Pingtan as its home port.

In recent years, the island county of Pingtan has given full play to the advantages of island resources and accelerated the construction of Pingtan as an international tourist destination. The operation of international cruise lines aims to inject new vitality into the tourism market and promote the high-quality development of the local tourism industry.
