Hainan Free Trade Port promotion event held in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- A promotion event of the Hainan Free Trade Port in south China was held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
Themed "Sharing New Opportunities of Hainan Free Trade Port, Creating a New Future of RCEP," the event introduced the policy advantages and business opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port, aiming at deepening economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China's Hainan Province and Malaysia.
Among those present were Malaysian International Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Liew Chin Tong and Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing, who were joined by more than 400 representatives from related Malaysian government departments, enterprises, business associations, and the trade delegation from Hainan.
The event also witnessed the signing of agreements on eight key cooperation projects covering agriculture, trade, education and business service, aiming to deepen bilateral partnership between Hainan and Malaysia.
