New air freight route links China's Shenzhen with Qatar's Doha

SHENZHEN, March 29 (Xinhua) -- A new air freight route was launched on Tuesday linking the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen with Qatar's capital of Doha, according to the Shenzhen Baoan International Airport.

The route is operated by Qatar Airways Boeing 777 all-cargo aircraft, with one round-trip flown each week.

It has brought the number of air cargo flights linking Shenzhen with the Middle East to seven a week.

The Shenzhen airport has to date opened international air-freight lines reaching 35 destinations.
