The project will start from mid-February, and is estimated to last about 351 days. The design and construction will apply EU technical standards.Zhu Tianran, head of CCECC’s office in Serbia said

that this is the first cooperation project between the two sides, and CCECC will work hard to ensure the high quality of the project and to finish it on time.

The general manager of SRI said the renovated railway will form a gateway to the Belgrade railway network, and Serbia will gradually become an important transportation hub.

CCECC won the bidding organized by SRI for the project in September last year.
