China Merchants Group promotes cultural exchange and integration with overseas youths
To actively respond to the Belt and Road Initiative, in October 2016, China Merchants Charity Foundation and China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. jointly created an overseas public welfare brand of "C-Blue Dream". By giving full play to its core advantages in its perfect overseas layout in the port and shipping field, China Merchants Port launched the "China Merchants C-Blue Training Program" under this brand.

Over the past seven years, the C-Blue Training Program, as a professional talent exchange and cultural exchange and integration platform for young talents in the port and shipping industry from different countries, has successfully held nine sessions, with 266 participants from 46 countries successfully completed the program. It has not only made positive contributions to deepening people's understanding and friendship with China, but also cultivated more outstanding young talents for the world's port and shipping industry, highlighting the enterprise mission of China Merchants Group to "promote the progress of the times with commercial success", and reflecting the enterprise mission of China Merchants Port to "be close to the world" and the core values of "inspire innovation, self-improvement, integration and harmony".

On October 14, 2021, the 9th C-Blue Training Program was successfully held. This year's C-Blue Training Program has been highly valued by the Ministry of Transport. It was sponsored by the School of Management of the Ministry of Transport and China Merchants Charity Foundation, and co-organized by China Merchants Port, Dalian Maritime University, Chang'an University, Shanghai Maritime University and Southwest Jiaotong University. The program was supported by the Wuzhou Communication Center of the State Council Information Office.
A total of 80 international students from 34 countries participated in the project. The project adopts a combination of indoor teaching and outdoor research, and carries out a series of thematic activities and learning exchanges in multiple forms and dimensions, helping young talents to carry out in-depth and systematic research and practice in the field of international transportation, and also giving international students more experience in various parts of China, to perceive and understand the real China. Through the C-Blue Training Program, a group of international students who know and love China have been cultivated, promoting friendly exchanges and mutual understanding, and playing a positive role in promoting people-to-people bonds around the world.
