Santa Cruz NK/JC Hydroelectric Power Plant Project Department of CGGC in Argentina assists local government in removing snow and restoring transport

The Santa Cruz NK/JC Hydroelectric Power Plant Project Department of CGGC in Argentina recently assisted in the local snow removal and disaster relief, which was highly appreciated by local people.

It is presently winter in southern Argentina and Santa Cruz has been hit by heavy snow, causing blockade of interprovincial highways. The local government and highway authority asked the NK/JC project department for help. When receiving the request, the project department immediately checked and repaired relevant equipment, and on July 24 took part in the snow removal for the No.40 Highway, helping restore the normal production and life of local people.

"The three levellers of NK/JC Hydroelectric Power Plant Project immediately arrived, which are of great significance for us to resist the worst winter in 25 years," said an official from the highway authority of Santa Cruz.
