China invests US$1.95 bln on industrial park in north Kazakhstan

Chinese investors have signed an investment agreement with Petropavl City, capital of the north Kazakhstan state, Interfax news agency reported on August 28.

According to the agreement, Chinese investors will invest a total of US$1.95 billion on an industrial park project, which covers an area of 500 hectares.

The industrial park will contain manufacturing workshops for construction of machinery vehicles, and relevant research and development institutes, creating around 3,000 jobs.
