NaaS to partner with Hyundai on building charging service ecosystem in China

China's electric vehicle (EV) charging service provider NaaS signed a partnership agreement with Hyundai Motor Group(China), on providing one-stop smart charging service solution for Hyundai Motor Group's brand models and promoting upgrade NEV charging services by joint effort Monday, reported Shanghai Securities News.

Specifically, under the partnership, NaaS will develop customized services such as EV charging service, order management and etc. based on Hyundai's connected services platform, achieving vehicle charging status and pile installation real-time monitoring, thus drivers will enjoy more convenient and efficient charging services.

Hyukjoon Lee,  President and Head of China Hyundai Motor Group China, said during the signing ceremony that China is the world's largest and fastest-growing EV market, China leads not only EV sales, but also EV-related services quality. Hyundai will continue to improve and expand its charging services through the cooperation with NaaS, and provide EV customers with more convenient and updated charging service experience.

Wang Yang, Founder and CEO of NaaS, said that charging facilities play a crucial supporting role in improving the penetration of EVs. Hand in hand with new energy industry chain players, NaaS will engage users in faster, easier and more cost-effective charging service, and work with Hyundai to help upgrade charging services.
