BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Fu Hua, president of Xinhua News Agency, met with Sudruetai Lertkasem, director-general of Thailand's Government Public Relations Department, in Beijing on Friday.

The two sides reviewed the history and achievements of China-Thailand media exchanges, and expressed their willingness to take the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic ties this year to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, carry forward the traditional friendship between the countries, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and work together to share stories of China-Thailand friendly cooperation in a captivating way, in their efforts to contribute to the building of a China-Thailand community with a shared future.
