Senior CPC official meets Iranian delegation

BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with a delegation led by Ghodratali Heshmatian, chairman of the House of Parties of Iran, in Beijing on Thursday.

The two sides exchanged views on following the important common understandings of the leaders of the two countries, enhancing political mutual trust and the exchange of ideas, and strengthening pragmatic cooperation and international coordination.
