The 2024 Chinese Industrial Products Exhibition kicked off on November 18 at the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone (JOCIC Park) in the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi.

Themed "Showcasing China's Iconic Industrial Brands," the exhibition featured six zones: a specialized zone, and areas dedicated to advanced manufacturing and technology, oil equipment and services, environmental protection and new energy, building materials, and furniture, as well as a comprehensive exhibition zone.

Nearly 90 leading companies from China and the UAE participated in the event, including China National Nuclear Corporation, China Telecom, China Unicom, ShenGu Group and Emirates NBD.

Zhu Lian, economic and commercial counselor of the Chinese embassy in the UAE, indicated that 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE. He emphasized the two countries' commitment to joint development through pragmatic collaboration, which demonstrates strong resilience and potential. This exhibition serves as a vivid reflection of this cooperative model and a powerful testament to the deepening partnership between the two nations. He expressed hope that enterprises from both countries would explore opportunities in emerging fields such as smart manufacturing, green industries, and digital transformation through the JOCIC Park platform.

Rashed Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, underscored Abu Dhabi's strategic importance as a global trade and investment hub. He stated, "Through initiatives like the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy, we aim to provide ample opportunities to international investors. We hope to leverage this event to enhance cooperation with China's top-notch enterprises and jointly foster the economic transformation of Abu Dhabi."

Since its establishment, JOCIC Park has become a vital hub for Chinese enterprises investing in the Middle East, attracting more than 30 projects, with the first group of companies already operational.
