Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line Asia Project

The Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line Asia is the first aircraft assembly line invested and built by Airbus outside Europe. Both the Chinese and French governments attached great importance to the project, regarding it as a model of China-Europe economic cooperation. Since 2008, COSCO SHIPPING Group has been effectively integrating resources at home and abroad to provide premium-quality services and guarantee the smooth operation of the international supply chain for the project.

COSCO SHIPPING effectively organized and coordinated its resources, along with its subsidiaries COSCO SHIPPING Logistics, COSCO SHIPPING Lines, and COSCO SHIPPING (Europe), to establish an operation platform that ensured the smooth progress of the project. With the Group's unified command, all parties involved dedicated their full efforts and cooperated with each other. Since 2007, the Group has secured the contracts and carried out the first, second and subsequent phases of logistics supply chain services for the project. As of January 12, 2022, COSCO SHIPPING had transported a total of 578 flights of aircraft components and spare parts to support the production of FAL Asia and the integration of Airbus' global supply chain. The Group's premium logistics services were highly recognized and valued by both the owner and customers, resulting in the Group receiving awards from Airbus for its transportation contributions and cargo safety.
