China's leading PV company GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (GCL SI) signed an agreement on 1.1 GW N-type high-efficiency modules supply with SAEL Industries Limited, an Indian company, marking a new milestone for GCL SI in further expanding its global business operations, reported China Securities Journal Tuesday.

GCL SI is a leading one-stop renewable energy service provider with multiple manufacturing facilities in China. SAEL is one of the leading PV project developers in India. During the signing ceremony, the two sides revealed the plan of installing more than 2 GW of ground mounted PV projects in India each year and deepening business cooperation with each other as key strategic partners.

Industry insiders believe that with the launch of GCL SI's 20 GW N-type high-efficiency cell manufacturing project and a number of overseas projects this year, the company will further strengthen its presence in global PV industrial chain.
