The border port of Ceke in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region handled about 19.13 million tonnes of cargo in 2023, with import and export value achieving 12.45 billion yuan (about 1.72 billion U.S. dollars), according to local customs.

Located in Alxa League of Inner Mongolia, Ceke is an important cross-border transportation and commercial hub linking northwest China and other countries.

In 2023, the border port of Ceke made efforts to improve its service quality and streamline customs procedures.

It also leveraged smart technologies to enhance customs clearance capacity and cargo handling capabilities. Specifically, in 2023, a total of 23 AGV unmanned driving vehicles and five intelligent heavy trucks were used to facilitate the customs clearance.
