The China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone covers three areas, namely Chengdu Tianfu New Area Zone, South Sichuan Port Area and Chengdu Qingbaijiang Railway Port Area.

Chengdu Tianfu New Area Zone

The Chengdu Tianfu New Area Zone covers an area of 90.32 square kilometers, including the 4-square-kilometer of Chengdu High-Tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the 0.09-square-kilometer Chengdu Airport Bonded Logistics Center. It focuses on developing modern services, high-end manufacturing, hi-tech industries, aviation economy, port services and other industries, and aims to build a national modern high-end industrial cluster, an innovation-driven development leading zone, an open financial industry innovation highland, a commercial logistics center and an international aviation hub, and to create an open highland for gateway cities in western China.

South Sichuan Port Area

The South Sichuan Port Area covers an area of 19.99 square kilometers, including the 0.21-square-kilometer Luzhou Port Bonded Logistics Center. It focuses on developing modern services such as shipping logistics, port trade, education and health care, as well as advanced manufacturing and characteristic advantageous industries such as equipment manufacturing, modern medicine, food and beverage, etc., and aims to become an important regional comprehensive transportation hub and an important gateway for the southward opening-up of the Chengdu-Chongqing city cluster, Yunnan and Guizhou.

Chengdu Qingbaijiang Railway Port Area

The Chengdu Qingbaijiang Railway Port Area covers an area of 9.68 square kilometers, including the 0.18-square-kilometer of Chengdu Railway Bonded Logistics Center. It focuses on developing port services such as international goods distribution, transfer, display, bonded logistics warehousing, international freight forwarding, imported vehicles, characteristic finance, as well as modern services such as information, technology and exhibition, and aims to become an important pivot point for the westward international trade passage linking countries along the Belt and Road.
