China's top economic planner signs MoU with California government

BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's top economic planner, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of the U.S. state of California.

The MoU concerns strengthening cooperation between the two sides on low-carbon development and the green transition.

Zheng Shanjie, head of the NDRC, on Wednesday met with California Governor Gavin Newsom. The two sides discussed strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the field of green and low-carbon development.
