Unit 3 of the Dubai Hassyan Power Station, engineered and constructed by Energy China, was successfully connected to the grid for the first time on May 16.

The project is equipped with four ultra-supercritical units, has a total installed capacity of 2,400 MW, and uses natural gas as its fuel.

The project is planned to be fully operational in April 2023. It is expected to provide 20% of the power needs of Dubai, reduce electricity costs for locals, and promote the diversification of the local energy structure.
