Contract on Pingtan's largest cultural tourism complex project was signed

Management Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone signed a contract on Zhuyu Bay Cultural Tourism Complex Project with South China Group of Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) on September 18. Based on cooperation on this project, the two sides will take building of international seaside tourist destination, demonstration area for integrated development of tourism, industry and city, drawing room of international tourism island and common homeland for compatriots on both sides of the Straits as objectives, and create a large-scale cultural tourism complex project.

It's learned that the total investment of Zhuyu Bay Cultural Tourism Complex Project is no less than RMB 15 billion.

According to related responsible person of Management Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, 'as a cultural tourism complex project introduced by Pingtan with the largest investment and scale along with the most centralized business forms in recent years, it will become a new tourism boom point, new industrial engine and new city landmark, optimize structure of Pingtan's tourism projects, and give great impetus to the building of international tourism island of Pingtan as well as development of tourism industry of the whole area.'
