Gala concert marking China-Mongolia friendship staged in Ulan Bator

A gala concert celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia was held here on Friday night.

The two-hour concert attracted hundreds of Mongolian citizens and overseas Chinese in the country. Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Xing Haiming also attended the event.

The concert, entitled "Songs of China-Mongolia Friendship" and co-organized by the Chinese embassy in Mongolia, the Chinese Cultural Center in Mongolia's Ulan Bator and the municipal government of Ulan Bator, aims to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries and friendship between the two peoples.

During the gala concert, popular Mongolian musicians and dancers, as well as around 100 students from the Mongolian State Music and Dance Conservatory performed a mix of Chinese, Mongolian and other world famous works.
