A detailed plan for the Langfang section of Daxing Airport Area, China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone, was approved recently by Langfang city, highlighting its function as an international trade logistics center and base for developing aviation industries.
Established about a year ago, the zone has four areas — Xiong'an, Zhengding, Caofeidian and Beijing Daxing International Airport.
The Daxing Airport Area is located on the border of Beijing's southern Daxing district and Langfang, Hebei province.
Under the plan, the Langfang section in the Daxing Airport Area will mainly feature international trade logistics, aviation research and development and medical services, and it will become a demonstration area for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Hebei Daily reported.
With the advantages of its location, which neighbors the new airport and Beijing, the Langfang section will mainly develop high-end service industries, including medical services, entertainment and aviation support, including maintenance, logistics and cross-border e-commerce, the plan said.
